A cooling pad (wet curtain) is a kind of material with a honeycomb structure and its working principle is a natural physical phenomenon "Water Evaporating Takes Heat Away": water flows under gravity from top to bottom and forms a water film on the corrugated fiber surface of the cooling pad (wet curtain). When the flowing air passes through the cooling pad (wet curtain), the water in the water film will evaporate, absorbs the heat in the air and take a lot of potential heat away, thereby lowering the air temperature of the passing cooling pad (wet curtain) and achieving purpose of cooling.
The cooling process of ORIWELL's cooling pad-based cooling system is completed in its core-a fiber pad. There is a thin water film on the corrugated fiber surface, and when outdoor dry hot air is sucked through the fiber pad by a fan, the water on the water film absorbs the heat in the air and evaporates into water vapor, and in this way, the treated cool and humid air enters the room. This natural process is like wind blowing over water.
The temperature lowered by a cooling pad depends on the difference between the dry and wet bulb temperatures of the air and the efficiency of the cooling pad at this time, the cooling value being the product of the two. The cooling efficiency of a cooling pad in stable operation is usually constant. It can be seen that the hotter the weather, the better the cooling effect of the cooling pad.
